Terms of Service.
The plain-English terms for Sitewell Co. website plans. By subscribing, you agree to these terms.
Last updated October 20, 2026
These terms are between Sitewell Co., a sole proprietorship operated by Aiden Rangel ("Sitewell," "we"), and the business that subscribes to a Sitewell plan ("Client," "you"). You accept them when you check the box at checkout and pay your first invoice. Questions? Email aiden@sitewellco.com.

Build and launch. We build your site from your services, prices, photos and contact details. Two rounds of revisions before launch are included. We aim to launch within 7 days of receiving your content and domain access.
What counts as an edit. Small changes to existing content: prices, hours, services, text, photos and seasonal banners. We aim to complete edit requests within 2 business days.
Not included. New pages beyond your plan, new features, a full redesign, logo or branding work, copywriting beyond your site's existing content, and paid advertising. We quote this work in writing before starting. Unused edits do not roll over.
2. Fees and billing
There is no setup fee. You pay only your plan price, billed automatically by card through Stripe.
| Plan | Monthly | Yearly (2 months free) |
|---|---|---|
| Basic | $59 | $590 |
| Standard | $99 | $990 |
- Billing date. You're charged when you subscribe, then on the same date each month or year.
- Failed payments. Stripe retries a failed card automatically. If a payment is still unpaid 14 days after it was due, we may take your site offline until it's paid.
- Extra work. Work outside your plan is billed separately at the rate we quote in writing before starting.
- Domain cost. Your domain is registered in your name and paid by you, or passed through to you at cost.
- Price changes. We give at least 30 days' notice by email before any price change. You may cancel before it takes effect.
- Taxes. Prices do not include any taxes that may apply.
3. Term and cancellation
Plans are month to month. Either party may cancel at any time by email.
- If you cancel, your site stays live until the end of your current paid period. We don't refund partial months. A yearly plan cancelled early is not refunded, and the site stays live until the year ends.
- If we cancel, we give 30 days' written notice, or end service immediately if a payment is more than 30 days late or the site is used for anything unlawful.
- After cancellation, we take the site offline at the end of the final paid period and keep a backup for 30 days. You always keep your domain and content (Section 4). You may also buy the complete site files for a one-time fee, quoted in writing, and host them anywhere.
- Domain handoff. We remove our access and point your domain wherever you ask, within 7 days of your request.
4. Ownership
You own your domain and content. Sitewell owns the site design and code, which you may use while subscribed.
| Item | Owner | After cancellation |
|---|---|---|
| Domain name | You, registered in your name | You keep it |
| Content: text, photos, logos, prices | You | You keep it |
| Site design, layout and code | Sitewell, licensed to you while subscribed | You may buy the files (Section 3) |
| Sitewell's templates, tools and form system | Sitewell | Not transferred |
Once you pay for the site files, you own that copy outright and may change or host it freely. We may show your site in our portfolio unless you ask us not to in writing.
5. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate content, and only content you have the right to use (photos, logos, text).
- Give us access to your domain, or let us register it in your name.
- Review your site before launch and tell us about errors promptly.
- Keep the prices, services and claims on your site truthful and lawful.
6. Our responsibilities
- Build, host and maintain your site with reasonable care and skill.
- Keep your site secure with HTTPS and current hosting.
- Keep your information and form submissions confidential, and use them only to provide the service.
7. Uptime, results and liability
Uptime. We use reputable hosting and work to keep your site online, but can't guarantee it will never be unavailable. We work to restore your site promptly after any outage we learn about.
Search rankings. We build sites to be search-friendly but don't guarantee any Google ranking or number of leads.
Limitation of liability. Sitewell's total liability under these terms is limited to the fees you paid in the 3 months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost business or other indirect damages, including from missed form submissions or downtime.
8. General
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. They are the full agreement between you and Sitewell and replace any earlier discussions. We may update these terms with at least 30 days' notice by email; continuing your subscription after that means you accept the update. Any other change must be agreed in writing; email counts.
